Qualification rules

There are two qualification paths for Forward 2024: one for financial professionals with Concourse Financial Group Agency and one for financial professionals with Concourse Financial Group Securities.
Concourse Financial Group Agency Path

Qualification period: January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023

  • New Producers: New producers qualify for a one-time bonus of 25,000 points.
  • Elite Producer | 150,000 points: You and your guest will enjoy four nights at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Platinum Producers | 250,000 points: You and your guest will enjoy the Elite Producer package. Additional conference amenities will be offered.
  • For Universal Life, Term Plans, Last to Die, and Whole Life (all companies): Production credit is 1 for $1 on commissionable annualized first year target premium, 3% on Excess Premium. Includes various UL, term and whole life (VUL is excluded) products.
  • For Disability² (via Secura Consultants, all companies): Production credit is 1 for every $1 of paid annualized premium. Includes all disability through Concourse Financial Group Agency.
  • For Annuities (all companies): Production credit is 5% of $1 of premium on index annuities, and 1% of $1 of premium on fixed and immediate annuities.
  • Linked benefit products (hybrid LTC-linked life and annuities — all companies): Production credit is 6% for $1 of premium.
  • Traditional long-term-care (all companies)²: Includes all traditional long-term care through Concourse Financial Group Agency. Production credit is 25% for every $1 of paid annualized premium.
  • COLI/BOLI, Executive UL, Group Life (various carriers): 25% for every $1 of first year commissionable annualized target premium.

  • For CFG Securities Financial Professionals — Platinum Experience: $1,000,000 GDC required³ to receive one invitation plus a guest. Additional conference amenities will be offered.
  • For CFG Securities Financial Professionals: $450,000 GDC required³ to receive one invitation plus a guest.
  • CFG Securities Business Owners — Platinum Experience: $6,000,000 GDC required³ to receive two invitations plus two guests.
  • CFG Securities Business Owners: $3,000,000 GDC required³ to receive one invitation plus a guest.

¹ Agency rules: We reserve the right to change the rules and/or qualifications due to influences of the DOL fiduciary rule. Six paid LIVES required to qualify. Please note that there will be no exceptions to the qualification rules. Other Notes: The producer must be in good standing with Concourse Financial Group Agency and all other carriers. Attendance is by invitation to producers only - no exceptions. Points earned are on paid business, are only as described above and hold no cash value. No buy-outs, alternatives or substitutions allowed. Producer will receive a 1099 at end of year for the trip. Times, dates, locations or qualification requirements may change without prior notice. Please note that the above qualifications are for independent producers only. Producers working at banks, other financial institutions and/or special groups may not be eligible and production requirements may vary. All producers in these channels should consult their insurance program manager and/or regional directors for trip eligibility and production requirements.

² Agency rules: No more than 25% of qualification points can come from disability products or traditional long-term care.

³ Securities rules: A qualifying Business Owner who also qualifies as a producing Financial Professional will be awarded a maximum of two invitations, plus guests. The qualification criteria (GDC required) may change during the year if changes to industry rules or regulations impact the qualification criteria. All qualifiers must be in good standing with Concourse Financial Group Securities, Inc. For the financial professional and guest, Concourse Financial Group Securities will arrange and pay for travel (reasonable airfare made in a timely manner as determined by Concourse Financial Group Securities or, if not airfare, mileage not to exceed the cost of airfare), transportation to and from the airport to the conference hotel on scheduled arrival/departure dates, conference meetings, scheduled conference meals, scheduled receptions, and reasonable baggage expenses (not to exceed a maximum of two (2) checked bags each for the advisor and guest). Invitations will be honored the duration of conference registration; invitations not accepted and registration not completed within the registration window will be void. For financial professional qualifiers, substitutions will not be allowed; an exception may be made in the case of an unlicensed Business Owner, whereby the Business Owner may nominate their substitute for Concourse Financial Group Securities’ approval. Concourse Financial Group Securities reserves the right to offer buy-in packages for the children of the qualifier. In accordance with Internal Revenue Service Code Section 1.74-1, the fair market value of the trip, for both the qualifier and guest, will be reported as income on the qualifier’s Form 1099.
